Spring at Last
03:15
|

Now the frost has melted,
Cold days have ended,
Birds fill up the air and shoots push through the ground.
Dance through the showers,
Welcome the first flowers,
Cast away your fears for new hope is found.
Winter's passed so look to the horizon
Spring at last will banish dark and cold
Seasons pass us by between the Earth and sky,
So keep your head up high as new life unfolds.
Now the trees have blossomed,
Snow and ice forgotten,
Waken all your dreams that Winter put on hold.
Let a little light in,
What's the use in fighting
Mother Nature's ways and things you can't control?
Winter's passed so look to the horizon
Spring at last will banish dark and cold
Seasons pass us by between the Earth and sky,
So keep your head up high as new life unfolds.

Crooked Landscape
04:02
|
|||
Pins pushed into a map
Feet buried deep in the past
Can't escape this hazy landscape,
Tied down to a forgotten land.
We scatter the pieces of out hearts
In places far apart
And we create a crooked landscape
Weathered by who we are.
We can sow our seeds on whatever ground we please
So lift the anchor and sail on through the ever-changing seas.
We can sow our seeds on whatever ground we please
So lift the anchor and sail on through the ever-changing seas.
We were born here and here we shall die
But it never crosses our minds
The places we've seen in the in-between,
Tapestry of a thousand skies.
For we are the only ones
Who know where we truly belong,
So much more than what came before
And the ground that we stand upon.
We can sow our seeds on whatever ground we please
So lift the anchor and sail on through the ever-changing seas.
We can sow our seeds on whatever ground we please
So lift the anchor and sail on through the ever-changing seas.
